3. JOHN EDE2 TAYLOR (EDWIN1) was born 24 Oct 1865 in Birmingham ENGLAND, and died 04 Sep 1937 in OMANAWA. He married (1) MARGARET CARTER 26 Nov 1887 in Wellington. She was born 04 Nov 1867 in WAIroa, and died 21 Jul 1907 in AUCKLAND. He married (2) ISOBELL MARGARET MUNRO 04 Jun 1912 in Eltham, daughter of JOHN MUNRO and MARY MYHILL. She was born 1887 in Te Roti, Taranaki, and died 26 Jan 1948 in Tauranga.

Notes for HARRY EDE TAYLOR:
Harry was an actor. I have a letter written to his dad, John Ede Taylor, (my
grandfather), on 22 Dec 1912. He was not married then but refers to a little
girl he left in Ponsonby. Later he married Ethel.

Notes for RITA TAYLOR:
Married Stewart Jackson and lived for years at Jackson's Bay at the end of the
Coromandel Penninsular. We went to Port Charles in 1990 with a view to buying
land there and the vendors thought they had moved to Hamilton.
iii. CLYDE TAYLOR, b. Abt. 1895; d. Bef. 1950; m. FLORA; d. Abt. 1984, TE PUKE.
Notes for FLORA:
Used to live on a nice farm in Te Puna. Had tame white rats which we used to
try to catch as kids. She would give us salt to put on their tails. Can
remember her getting absent minded & putting salt in our tea instead ofsugar.
