Descendants of GEORGE LOCKINGTON
Please note that to preserve privacy this tree stops well short of the last few generations. Much of the data to current generations is on my files but not on the website. I am happy to make it available to relatives who contact me individually.

1. GEORGE1 LOCKINGTON was born 1754, and died 1809. He married JANE.

in doubt. See notes below. George had a son George whom we are pretty sure
went to
Canada around 1845.

Generation No. 2
2. GEORGE2 LOCKINGTON (GEORGE1) died Abt. 1876 in ON YACHT. He married UNKNOWN. She was born in NEW HEBRIDES.
Notes for GEORGE LOCKINGTON:We cannot link this George
to the one above in Generation 1. The dates just don't work out. George
(above)
was born about 1780 which makes him too old. We have also since found out that
George (above) had a son called George, born around 1815.
We now think this new George was the chap who went to Canada about 1845,
starting off the numerous Lockington families who are there today.
We have checked the children of John and Charles (my Great great great
grandfather, but no George is hiding there. Maybe your George
who ended up in Fiji is descended from the Lockingtons who remained in England,
and whose descendants went to Aust. & the west coast
of the South Island of NZ. Any info gratefully accepted.
We believe George left for Fiji, perhaps by way of Boston, with brother John
who apparently carried on to either Aust or NZ.
George married a girl a from New Hebrides. He was old when he married and his
son Daniel was only 2 when George died.
He bought 60 acres on the Island ofKadavu
